This Month’s Subject:
“GGCS Welcomes Eric Dunn”
Eric’s talk will cover:
- The state of Quicken
- Accomplishments over the last 18 months
- Key features in Quicken 2018 – Windows and Mac
- Coming soon – new Mobile and Web Quicken
- Questions and Answers
Eric has been a Quicken user since 1985 and was employee #4 at Intuit when Quicken was Intuit’s only software product. He was a programmer on almost all the early versions of Quicken, led the development of its payments business, was its CFO during Intuit’s IPO and acquisition of TurboTax and later became Quicken’s General Manager and Intuit’s CTO.
Eric retired from Intuit in 2000 to pursue a second career in technology investing, first as an angel investor and then as a General Partner at Cardinal Venture Capital. He returned to Intuit in 2010 as a General Manager and is now CEO of Quicken Inc., the standalone private company.
The meeting is free for GGCS members and open to the public at a cost of $5.00 for visitors. Pay at the door by cash, check or credit card. You get free admission and a raffle ticket if you join our club at the event ($48/yr). This is sponsored by the Golden Gate Computer Society.
