| The GGCS BBQ Picnic and Raffle will be Sunday September 20, 2026 from 11am to 3pm at Beautiful McNears Beach Park.

Bring your own lunch and drinks. No BBQ this year, but we will have the usual raffle. GGCS will provide ice for drinks and bottled water.
No charge for members and families. $5 per person for guests to cover the cost of the park reservation (pay upon arrival)Parking is free but the lot does fill up in the afternoon.
Come and see each other in real life and enjoy a delightful afternoon picnic together. Come to the party, relax, mingle, bring some cards or board games and have some fun.
McNears is a beautiful park with a large lawn, swimming pool (free) and delightful views of the bay. There are also very nice walks along the shore or out onto the fishing pier.
Directions to 201 Cantera Way, San Rafael:From central San Rafael freeway exit: Go east 4.3 miles on 2nd St,, merging with 3rd and becoming North San Pedro. Right at Cantera Way and follow signs.
